With the sudden and unexpected death of Prince last Thursday night both Chevrolet and Koenigsegg posted images on their Facebook pages in tribute to the rock legend. Chevrolet who's Corvette featured in Prince's chart topping song "Little Red Corvette" simply posted an iconic image with the words "Baby, that was much too fast" on both it's Chevrolet page and Corvette page. 
Christian von Koenigsegg it seems is also a huge Prince fan and posted on Koenigsegg's facebook page Thursday evening a purple CCXR with the caption "Purple - in memory of Prince. RIP Kid. Gone way too soon." 
As the post gained a lot of social media traction Christian then published on Friday a Regera rendered in the same hue, publishing the render on Friday with the comment "We had a few requests for this after our Price tribute last night but I had to wait until this morning to get the rendering. 'Lila Regera' in Swedish. That's (sort of) 'Purple Reign' in English."#RIPPrince 
What do you think of the purple Regera? The only issue is the 2 year waiting list for the limited edition made to order Regera.
